The Celebration Team  asked that we get to know each other better, so each quarter for the next year, we will be asking questions to learn more about each other! First up are those staff members with a birthday in either December, January or February! So be sure to not only wish them a Happy Birthday, but to let them know you appreciate them sharing a little information about themselves!

Below are the questions that were asked:

1.      Where were you born?
2.      Why did you choose to work at a credit union?
3.      If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?
4.      What’s your favorite TV show?
5.      What is one thing that people might be surprised to find out about you?

MARY BIBB
December 8th

I was born in Gulfport, MS. My family moved to New Orleans shortly after and I relocated to Sacramento, CA when I was 12 years old. I call Sacramento home because I spent most of my growing up there.

I’m a military brat, married a military serviceman and traveled at lot. One thing I noticed in my travels, there was a credit union on every military base. I walked in one day at Beale AFB Credit Union, CA to apply for a loan and applied for a job instead.

I simply love Europe. We were stationed at RAF South Ruislip Air Station for almost seven years and I loved it. It is the suburb of London, England.

My favorite TV shows are anything to do with music, The Voice, X Factor, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, America Got Talent, The Sing Off and Glee.

The one thing that people might be surprised to find out about me, I do a lot of volunteer work for my church. I’m very active and served as a member of the board of directors for the past 3 years. I’m the auxiliary head for the Drama Ministry and have directed programs for Easter and Christmas for the past 4 years. This Christmas I am really thinking big and will produce a live Nativity Scene to be held on the grounds of the church.
